Fashion Flops

Fortunately for most people (the lucky ones) Emma Roberts went out looking like this late at night when most people were home. Unfortunately, a photographer was still able to capture this mess for us to see it the next day… Her newest flick SCREAM 4 doesn’t come out till April 15th, so why is she starting to scar us so early? It’s not even April Fools Day yet either? Well it’s time for fashion thoughts and I think Emma could have looked a lot less scary had she chosen this alternate outfit I scraped together featuring Marc Jacobs (every Young Hollywood girl needs Marc Jacobs) and a large Alexander Wang bag to better sneak her food around. Recently Kate Bosworth celebrated her cover of NYLON Magazine at the release party and showed up wearing the same dress Diane Krugar wore to her movie premier. Who wore it best? I’m siding with Diane although I had a bone to pick with her version of the look in a recent blog post. Kate could have rocked the short Dolce & Gabanna dress but she just had to flop it up and wear a military jacket over the runway look. sigh

The usually gorgeous Diane Lane showed up to some party in a “Oh, i just woke up and look this way and this is the first thing I saw in my closet….” kind of look and not in a good way. Hair is a flop, makeup is a flop, and the dress is a major flop! Better options for her would have been a Jason Wu floral print dresses or this Theory dress. The only gold star here is the bag Ms. Lane

My favorite Girl Next Door Holly Madison cemented her hands forever at Planet Hollywood in Vegas and unfortunately in a hot mess of an outfit. With an amazing body, perfect smile, and Marilyn Monroe like vibe she has the makings for fantastic photo ops. A DSUARED2 dress with bow detail on side would have been better use of the bow trend on her. Usually she wows the presses with her personal sense of red carpet style but even she can take a spill into the down right ugly. Great dress, but not for her and showing her tattoo just above her derriere is not Elle Magazine event appropriate. This is how she could have pulled off the peak a boo look by showing her front side instead and hiding the back.
